On April 19, 2025, a first instance court sentenced her to 18 years in prison in the same case, a judgment she appealed while remaining at liberty pending the appeal proceedings. Subsequently, on November 28, 2025, the Criminal Chamber specialized in terrorism cases at the Court of Appeal issued a new ruling sentencing her to 20 years of imprisonment.
