Anisha Asadollahi, who is serving her sentence in Evin Prison, has been denied family visits for more than three months.

Recent case update / evolution

She was sentenced to a total of five years and eight months of imprisonment by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Iman Afshari. This sentence was ultimately upheld by the Tehran Court of Appeals.

On 19 February 2026, Anisha Asadollahi was released from Evin prison after serving her sentence.
