Khatira Rasikh is an Afghan women's rights activist and former government employee with a background in economics and midwifery.
After the fall of the Afghan government, she protested Taliban policies restricting women’s rights, for which she was detained, tortured and lost her unborn child.
Forced to flee to Pakistan due to escalating threats, she continues her advocacy and founded the "Voice of Afghan Women" movement in February 2024.
