Ibrahim Saleh Ahmed Abu Khalil Al-Huwaiti was arrested in early November 2020. On 5 August 2022, Ibrahim Al-Huwaiti was sentenced to death by the Saudi Specialised Criminal Court, which was upheld on appeal on 23 January 2023. He was charged with establishing a terrorist cell and creating a Twitter account and using it to harm national unity.
