Recent case update / evolution

Ms. Ahmadi was sentenced to 6 years in prison by Branch 15 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Abolqasem Salavati. This sentence was eventually reduced to three years and six months of imprisonment by Branch 36 of the Tehran Court of Appeals.

Soudabeh Belali, the mother of this prisoner, announced in a statement that Ms. Ahmadi has ended her medication strike following the authorities' promise to grant her medical leave.
