Andrei comes from Mahilioŭ and lives in Minsk. He graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts and worked as a copywriter. After his arrest, he was reported to have allegedly been an editor and author of articles for the "Vesniki" self-publishing network that was recognized as an "extremist organization" a month and a half after his arrest. In addition, he was accused of participating in the protest march that took place on August 30, 2020.
