Seyed Sekandar Hosseini Bamdad (born in 1991 in Balkh Province, Afghanistan) is an Afghan poet, writer, and cultural activist. He directed the Molana Cultural House and the Ferdowsi Library in Balkh, where he organized literary gatherings, poetry workshops, and events promoting Persian/Dari literature. He is the author of several poetry collections, including 'A Kiss on the Reed’s Throat' and 'Borderless Oppression'. He is recognized as one of the key cultural voices of Mazar-e-Sharif.
