Zakaria Asuli is a legal scholar from Panjshir, Afghanistan, with a Master’s degree in Criminal Law and Criminology. He is an accomplished author and researcher, having published 32 books, all registered at Kabul University. Notable works include “How Afghanistan Was Formed,” “International Human Rights Charter and Emergency Situations,”. Asuli was arrested by the Taliban on January 30, 2023 and released on April 10, 2023 after nearly three months in detention. Following his release, he received medical treatment for health issues resulting from imprisonment.
