HRD's bio and work

Vatslau Areshka graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts with a degree in Theatre Studies. He worked at the Young People's Theatre, the National Art Museum, taught at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, and translated works of the Belarusian Baroque from Old Polish.

Vatslau published in independent magazines and newspapers. He was an activist in the project "Experts in Defence of Kurapaty", and initiated the creation of the "Kurapaty Honour Book" in memory of the victims of repression. He edited the trade union newspaper.
