Mr. Abolhasani has been sentenced to a total of 5 years and 3 months in prison, 12 lashes, a fine of 30 million tomans, and 4 months of mandatory work at the Agricultural Jihad Organization for 4 hours a day. Mr. Abolhasani was initially sentenced to 15 months of imprisonment and 4 months of mandatory work at the Agricultural Jihad by Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran, presided over by Judge Iman Afshari. This sentence was upheld in full by Branch 36 of the Tehran Court of Appeals. Shortly thereafter, he was sentenced to 4 years in prison by the same branch for a new case. Additionally, regarding another new case opened against him during his imprisonment, he was sentenced by one of the branches of the Revolutionary Court in Qazvin to 12 lashes and a fine of 30 million rials in favor of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to the latest report, Mohammad Abolhasani, who is currently serving his prison sentence at Chobindar Prison in Qazvin without adherence to the principle of separating prisoners by offense, has received and been subjected to a sentence of 12 lashes.
