Yulia is a a defense attorney who worked in Hrodna's Kastrychnitski district to provide legal counselling to and defend many political prisoners. In 2022, she was expelled from the Hrodna Regional Bar Association and left Belarus. She was detained at the end of August 2022 after returning to Hrodna.
