Khosro Alikordi, an Iranian human rights lawyer, has been subjected to intense government pressure for defending the families of protesters and political prisoners. He was convicted on charges of "propaganda against the regime." His advocacy, especially after representing families of those killed during the 2022 nationwide protests, has led to increased government surveillance and pressure on him. Alikordi also represents political prisoners such as Hossein and Fatemeh Sepehri and has faced professional bans, including restrictions on practicing law and using social media.

Khosro Alikordi was found dead on 5 December 2025 in suspicious circumstances.
