She was sentenced to four years of imprisonment by Branch 15 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Abolqasem Salavati. Additionally, as a supplementary punishment, she was sentenced to a two-year ban on membership in political parties, groups, and factions, as well as a ban on activities on social media, in the media and press, and a ban on leaving the country.

The request for a retrial of Reyhaneh Ansari Nejad, imprisoned in Evin Prison, has been rejected by the Supreme Court.
