Amirsalar Davoudi, a lawyer and human rights activist, has faced judicial actions due to his defense of political and security detainees and criticism of human rights conditions in Iran. He managed the Telegram channel "Bedoon Rotoush" (Without Retouch), where he published critiques of the judicial system and the government. Throughout his professional career, Davoudi represented numerous political and ideological defendants and was an active member of the Human Rights Commission of the Central Bar Association. While in prison, Davoudi encountered numerous challenges, including contracting COVID-19 and being deprived of fundamental prisoner rights. Despite these hardships, he continued his human rights activities and was awarded the prestigious international "Ludovic Trarieux" Human Rights Prize in 2022.
