Hamraz Sadeghi, a women’s rights activist and a staunch opponent of Iran's compulsory hijab laws, was arrested for her protest activities and her involvement in the "Girls of Revolution Street" movement. She protested against the mandatory hijab policies of the Islamic Republic by sharing content on social media, which led to her legal prosecution. Hamraz had previously been arrested for participating in peaceful protests and demonstrations, and she is currently imprisoned in Evin Prison.
