Esmail Gerami is a labor activist and a well-known figure in Iran's labor movement. Mr. Gerami was sentenced to a fine of twenty million Tomans by Branch 1027 of the Tehran Criminal Court II.

Esmail Gerami, imprisoned in Evin Prison, has been tried by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Iman Afshari, and is currently awaiting the verdict.
