Naseema Sadat, daughter of Mohammad Amir, was born on March 3, 1993, in Badakhshan Province, Afghanistan. She married in 2010 and is a mother of five children. Since 2009, she has been active in women’s rights advocacy, literacy education, and civil society initiatives. A graduate of Malika Soraya High School and later a law student at Kabul’s National University, she has worked with the Directorate of Women’s Affairs, the National Meal Program (Dastarkhwan-e-Milli), and most recently with ORD as Gender and Women’s Rights Officer. Through her work with GIZ, JACK, ACSF-O, and the Afghan Powerful Women Movement, she has focused on promoting human rights, empowering women, and raising awareness against violence and early marriage.
